District 5 play unfurls in Montpelier as the Indians take on district favorite, Bear Lake. The push to set up the postseason matters more than ever as Preston comes off a week long break after a contender for “win of the year” where they dismantled the Filer Wildcats 3-2 on the road. Preston and Bear Lake may be meeting for the first time in “District Play” but have already seen each other this season at the Cokeville tournament, a game that went the Bears way, 3-0. The Indians are seeking win #10 and a 1-0 district record on their 4th straight road game and their 14th road game in 16 games on the year. Bear Lake is pushing for win #19, possibly 20 based on last nights game that has yet to be reported and the same district result as the Bears are coming off that unreported game against West Side last night and a 4-3 showing at the ThunderBee tournament against a handful of 6A schools.
