The Preston Indians (0-3) return from their 2nd bye in a three week span eager to take the field. Their opponent, Sugar-Salem (4-1), is a major 4A threat, being viewed by many as a top 3 team in the state. Sugar-Salem is battle tested with wins over the likes of Snake River and Shelley (both shutouts) and Star Valley, Wyoming who was on a 34 game win streak. Their most recent victory was a 14-7 win over Kimberly. For Preston, this game provides a major chance to put other 4A teams on notice as the Indians are looking forward to being the healthiest they’ve been all season as they seek their first victory. With bye weeks in the rear view mirror and district play weeks away, Preston expects to put all the stellar moments and bright flashes of brilliance together to be a threat down the stretch.
