Preston is red-hot off their first district win of the year when they downed Snake River 3-1 on Tuesday, winning two of the three sets by 7 or more points. They look to keep the momentum rolling into a new month as they visit American Falls for a Thursday night matchup. Preston is 10-7 on the season, 1-1 in district play and sits just outside of the MaxPreps top 5 rankings as of now making each win all the more important. For Preston, tonight will cap off a 6 game road streak, and will lead into a three game homestand to end the year with tonights contest being the 16th of 18 games played away this season.
American Falls enters at 7-4 but have dropped both district games to Bear Lake and Snake River in 6 total sets. The Beavers have won 4 straight outside of District 5 play however and have made big strides as they have handled Wendell, South Fremont and Gooding in that stretch. Since Preston switched classifications in volleyball ,the Indians are 5-0 against American Falls winning each match 3-0 and will hope to keep that standard tonight.
