Rich County, UT. – A 61 year-old Mississippi man wanted in connection with a homicide was arrested on Thursday by U.S. Marshals at Bear Lake State Park.
Authorities say Charles Eugene Bowman who is suspected in the murder of his wife, in Pearl County Mississippi, had been on the run, evading U.S. Marshalls for several weeks.
According to the Rich County Sheriff’s Office, Bowman was taken into custody at Rainbow Cove Campground, without confrontation, on Thursday. Bowman’s White Nissan Maxima was spotted in the campground earlier that afternoon. Bowman had previously been spotted in Evanston in late June, as well as in Venal, Utah shortly thereafter, and in other various locations in and around the Salt Lake City area.
