Salt Lake City, UT. – The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints says that it will announce it’s new leadership on Tuesday, via a live broadcast from Salt Lake City. The announcement will be made by President Russell M. Nelson, who is the faith’s senior apostle.
In a statement, the church says Nelson will address members of the church during the broadcast scheduled for 9 a.m. MST. The address can be seen on all of the church broadcast outlets, on their website, and church social media channels.
These leadership announcements come in the wake of the death of President Thomas S. Monson, who died on January 2nd at age 90.
