PRESTON, ID. (AP) — Franklin County Sheriff’s Office has opened an investigation into the death of a man in southeast Idaho, they are now calling a homicide.

Authorities first discovered the man’s body on Saturday at a residence located at 2200 East near Preston in Franklin County, according to a county news release.

The name of the male victim is not being released, and no other details surrounding his death are available at this time.

Southeast Idaho law enforcement agencies were alerted to be on the lookout for a suspect, but no further details on a possible suspect are available. Authorities have interviewed a large number of people, however, according to the release.
