For the second time this season, the Lyman Eagles and Douglas Bearcats will meet, this time for a state championship. Douglas’ only loss came to 4A Thunder Basin in December, since then Douglas has won 20 consecutive contests by an average margin of 40 points. The Bearcats will be looking for back-to-back state titles, meanwhile the Lyman Lady Eagles will be playing in their first state title game in 2015 when they won the championship. The Lyman Lady Eagles have been led all season by standout star McKinley Bradshaw and if the Eagles want to come out victorious on Saturday they will need McKinley to play on another level. In the previous matchup between the teams, Douglas won 70-39. Will the Eagles, coached by Jason Hansen, get a state title trophy on Saturday, or will Douglas cement their legacy and prove they are a force to be reckoned with for years to come in 3A Girls Basketball.

Tipoff scheduled for 6:30 pm MDT. Sean Bennett will have the call for MyLocalRadio and KNYN 99.1
