Cheyenne, WY.  –   As part of a larger 140 billion dollar project to address the aging nuclear missile system in the U.S., the military is expected to complete upgrades to modernize the intercontinental ballistic missile system at Wyoming’s F.E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne.

The upgrades to the nuclear missile system would include new concrete missile silos and communications buildings.

The cost of the upgrades at F.E. Warren could cost 4 to 5 billion dollars over the span of the next decade to two decades.

Wyoming’s congressional delegation are said to view the project as necessary one, in order to keep our nation safe.
