Pocatello, ID.  — Firefighters responded to a brush fire off of Interstate 86 near the Pocatello-Chubbuck border around 5:45 p.m. on Sunday evening. The fire was burning in grasses along the Interstate and was contained by 6:45 p.m. Once contained, the fire had only burned around 10-acres. Firefighters remained on scene Sunday night to control hot-spots.

The fire remains under investigation but was likely started by a discarded cigarette or a spark from a vehicle.

There were no injuries reported or structures damaged.
