Logan, UT. – Motorists traveling along a 2.5 mile stretch of highway in Logan Canyon should expect delays beginning on August 15th through August 17th, as cattle allotment permittees move their cattle. The cattle will be moved from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. over the two day period. The cattle will travel along the highway in groups of 200-300, starting at Temple Fork Road to the cattle guard below Twin Creeks. More than 1400 cattle will be moved from the lower early summer pastures to higher late summer pastures. Motorists can expect some delays. Drivers should slow down and use extra caution to avoid encountering stray cattle.
