Cheyenne, WY. – Early in the month of April, the Wyoming Highway Patrol was highlighting their coverage of Interstate 80, and came out with successful results, seizing more than 250 pounds of illegal drugs and making multiple arrests from April 10th through the 15th. According to their reports, the patrol says they had troopers with K-9 teams in Cheyenne, Laramie, Rawlins, Rock Springs and Evanston, which resulted in 21 drug related felony charges and 13 drug related misdemeanor charges being filed. Ten more non-drug related felony and misdemeanor arrests were also made, which included two sex offenders in violation of sex offender registry requirements. Also, one missing male was found and reunited with his family and one child was taken into protective custody.
