Thermopolis, WY.  –  At around 11 p.m. on Friday night, a moderate 4.2 magnitude earthquake struck southeast of Thermopolis according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The center of the quake was located about 50 miles east-southeast of Thermopolis and was reported to have been felt across the big horn basin, in Greybull, Ten Sleep, Lovell and Worland.

No injuries or damage were reported with this quake.
