Cheyenne, WY.  –  On Thursday, the Legislature’s Joint Judiciary Committee advanced two draft proposals relating to the possession of marijuana and marijuana infused products, on to the full legislative session.

Wyoming courts have faced challenges in interpreting state law, when charging people who have been caught with non-plant products in their possession that exceed amounts considered personal use.

3 ounces or more of plant form marijuana is currently considered a felony in the state, but when the marijuana is mixed in other forms, complications arise in determining appropriate disciplinary action.
