Boise, ID. – On Tuesday, an Ada County grand jury indicted 30-year-old Timmy Kinner, on a dozen charges, including murder, in connection with a June stabbing incident at an Idaho apartment complex.
On June 30th, Boise Police responded to the Wylie Street Station Apartments in Boise, where they found victims in the complex and in the parking lot who had suffered injuries consistant with stab wounds. The suspect, Timmy Kinner, was later detained by police.
Timmy Earl Kinner Jr. was charged with one count of first-degree murder in the death of 3-year-old Ruya Kadir, and eight counts of aggravated battery in the stabbing. Kinner was also indicted on one count of burglary, and two counts of aggravated assault.
Kinner has stated that he wishes to defend himself, but is currently being represented by three Ada County Public Defenders.
The Ada County Prosecutor’s Office is still deciding whether to pursue the death penalty in the case.
